Thirty-Four Years of Scholarly Continuity
Founded in 1993 in Daejeon, South Korea, the conference has been hosted by premier universities and national science agencies across eleven nations, including Japan, China, Australia, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, Vietnam, and now the United Arab Emirates.
Each edition has documented pivotal inflection points in telecommunications: from early cellular TDMA systems to OFDM, 4G LTE, massive MIMO, and current frontiers in 6G semantic communications and environmental intelligence.
